🎃 Halloween Events in Homestead & Cutler Bay

Trick-or-treating and Halloween celebrations are kicking off this weekend! Honestly I’m just waiting for that crowded but fun Halloween trick or treat stroll around the Whispering Pines lake in Cutler Bay #IYKYK. Here are a few events taking place in Homestead and Cutler Bay this weekend.

• Halloween Spooktacular at Cutler Ridge park - Join us for two nights of Halloween fun .Enjoy costume contests, trunk-or-treat, a golf cart parade, movie night, inflatables, food trucks, and more! Mark your calendars for October 25th and 26th, 6-10 PM at Cutler Ridge Park. Visit cutlerbay-fl.gov/halloween for more details.

• Trick-or-Treat Mall-O-Ween Celebration at Southland Mall -Join us this Saturday, Oct. 26 for our . Bring the family to this FREE event taking place by the carousel from 2-4 PM. The kids will receive a bag with goodies, take photos by our Fall display with characters, face painters, balloon sculptors, cotton candy, popcorn and much more! *While supplies last, first come first served.

• Halloween at The Moss Center - Friday October 25, 2024 | 6:00 PM Candy Giveaways starting at 6:00 PM while supplies last!  Tickets are FREE.  Admission and seating at each part of the Halloween event, including the Spooky Symphony performances, are general admission (first come, first served). A ticket does not guarantee you a seat. More info here

• Redlands Community Church Trunk or Treat - Come for an evening of FREE Fun! Hot Dog Dinner, Hay Rides, Candy and Games! 14601 SW 248 Street, Homestead . October 26th, 4:30- 7:00

• Harley-ween Party at Peterson's Harley-Davidson South- Saturday Oct 26th 12pm- 4pm . Come in your best Halloween costume for a chance to win $25, $75 or $100 HD Gift cards. Good news for Chick-fil-A fans! The new location in Cutler Bay is set to open its doors on October 31st. Grab your chicken sandwich just in time for Halloween!

• 🍹 Smoothie King Comes to Homestead

  There’s a new Smoothie King in Homestead located at 3334 NE 7th St, Homestead, FL 33033 . Stop by for a delicious and healthy treat!

• 🏗️ Former Sears Site Transformation

  The former Sears building in Homestead has been fully demolished, and it’s making way for the first set of residential buildings, an 8 story building with 350 units anchored by the Presidente grocery store. More to come as the adjacent Kmart and Ross parcels will also be transformed into apartments and condos. Ross will move into the main mall.

• 🚑 HCA Florida Emergency Facility Coming to Homestead

  HCA Florida is bringing a new 10,000-square-foot emergency facility to Homestead at 14190 SW 288th St. Located just west of Florida's Turnpike, the facility will be affiliated with HCA Florida Kendall Hospital.

• Franjo road in Cutler Bay closures- The road closure along Franjo road has been extended to Tiffany Drive. So now between SW 184th St and Tiffany drive along Franjo is inaccessible. I assumed they would have completed the first section before working on another section, but, Miami. What can we do.
